Skizzy Mars – Greedy
Skizzy Mars aka Miles Mills delivers a new EP ARE YOU OK? with a track called “Greedy.” The Harlem born rapper raps about missing a woman over wild guitar riffs.
Young Thug (ft. Lil Uzi Vert)
Young Thug breaks his hiatus with his new EP Hear No Evil. The three track EP features the likes of Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage and Lil Uzi. If you want stellar wordplay and pretend you’re a rockstar, this is the one for you.
Aflacko – Cut It Out (ft. Ty Dolla Sign)
Bay Area prodigy Aflacko drops a new song with LA’s own Ty Dolla $ign. Ty Dolla $ign was found slapping Aflacko’s “Most Hated” on Instagram live and days later found himself blessed with a verse from the R&B crooner. This is the first big feature we’ve seen from Aflacko and we’re sure it’s not the last.
Tinashe – Me So Bad (ft. Ty Dolla $ign & French Montana)
Tinashe shows off her vocal range with her pop hit “Me So Bad” featuring the likes of Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana. The playful video shows the three at a tennis court having a ball. Watch the video above.
Princess Nokia – For The Night
Princess Nokia channels emo and hip-hop together in her new mixtape A Girl Cried Red. In the track “For the Night” Nokia sings about making money to recover her broken heart while playful experimenting with her flow.
Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa – One Kiss
Calvin Harris links up with European Star Dua Lipa for the song One Kiss. Lipa insists that “one kiss” will you make you fall in love with her. This deep house masterpiece will for sure sweep you off your feet.
ALLBLACK – Big Shit (ft. Nef The Pharaoh & Rex Life Raj)
ALLBLACK links up with Nef The Pharaoh and Rexx Life Raj and laces the track with the bay area swag we all know and love! Throughout the song you’ll hear Nef The Pharaoh, Rex LIfe Raj, and ALLBLACK talking that Big Sh*t!
Cautious Clay – Broken Moments
Shortly after releasing his debut EP Blood Type, Brooklyn singer Cautious Clay gives us a new single. Cautious Clay elegantly sings about coming to terms with being lonely.
August 08 – Lately
With just his second single, August 08 is subtly gearing up to release his debut project. August combines a soft falsetto and impeccable songwriting to create the track “Lately.”
Spencer – Open Wide
We don’t know much about newcomer Spencer, outside of the fact he makes really really good music. If you’re a fan of drum loops and guitars you’ll love this new single featuring Ishmael Raps.
Californian DJ/ Producer Getter aka Tanner Petulla teamed up with Floridian rapper Ghostemane on the ferocious ‘DAHLIA I’ EP. This three track project showcases Getter’s strong use of heavy bass and Dubstep-infused hip hop beats. Each track is packed with hard, dark productions by Getter, alongside powerful bars from Ghostmane. Together the two make an apocalyptic-esque sound that will break your neck.
The San Jose native dropped his first EP ‘I Want More’ back in 2013; since then Petulla has been making all kinds of bangers in all types of genres from EDM, Trap, Hip hop, Dubstep and more. Getter has even produced hits for artists’ like Pouya and $uicideboy$. ‘DAHLIA I’ is proof that Getter’s arsenal of versatility is only going to continue to grow.

Last Sunday Taylor Bennett blessed the world with “Minimum Wage”, a music video directed by Chicago-based director Cole Bennett. Taylor made his debut album back in 2015 with Broad Shoulders. The album included a few features from artists like Donnie Trumpet and Bennett’s own brother Chance the Rapper.
Since then Bennett’s been on the come up stepping out of his brother’s shadow and paving his own lane. “Minimum Wage” is proof of that. Bennett’s song shows the reality of many Americans that can’t afford life on minimum wage. Taylor also (in addition too) tackles the struggles of being an independent artist, moving up in the music industry, and following his dreams. Watch the video above or stream the single here.
Yesterday, Pouya broke the internet with his long awaited second album Five Five. As one of the hottest rappers coming out of Florida, Pouya believes the state’s recognition has been long overdue.
He is not wrong.
Pouya has been paving his own lane in Florida’s underground rap scene for a long time coming and it payed off. “I’ve been doing this since 2011, so I’ve seen everybody come and go and people stay,” he said. “I don’t think it’s necessarily late because I think every dog has his day. But it’s good to see that people are waking up. I love to see a fellow Floridian making it. It’s hard out here man” he said in a XXL interview.
FIVE FIVE is an affirmation of Pouya coming into his own, proving to the world that Florida is nothing to mess with. Pouya tackles topics about depression, staying sober, the struggles of making it. Chi-town native Saba just dropped a powerful new music video about the growing pains of life as an emerging artist. Aside from Saba’s heartfelt lyrics, the representation of light and dark energy by the dancers provides an aesthetically beautiful vision for the audience. Many of us can relate to Saba’s poetic confessions about being lonely, looking for love, and transitioning from one chapter to next in our lives. Check out “Busy” above.

East Coast rapper Brent Faiyaz’s new single “Make Luv” debuted last week. The songs heavy bass and Faiyaz’s melodic voice create a perfect blend of harmony that slaps. This R&B love song is sure to liven up your Friday night.
Freshly signed to 88rising, a creative management company, August 08’s “Funeral” debut song for his upcoming EP Father is a hit. Although the word funeral usually paints a lot of negative of imagery, however, LA based artist August 08 breathes new life to the word. “Don’t say it at my funeral” he sings, asking his audience to keep it real with one another and spread positivity.
Atlanta rappers Gunna and Young Thug gifted us with another banger “King Kong.” The song is a glimpse at Gunna’s new album Drip Season 3. The track starts with Thugga’s melodic vocals followed by some hard bars from Gunna. This fire track reminds us just why Atlanta’s such a hotspot for hip-hop and trap music right now.
Bay Area raised artist RAMIREZ dropped a fire new single “100 Bars and Gunnin”. The song pays homage to the gangster/thug persona but in a new and alternative way. Ramirez’s fast past rhythm and heavy bass reminds us why the bay area is home to some of the best rappers alive.
South Florida rapper OTTO dropped a hot new single “Down In The Hole”. This self-produced track is driven by emotional and heartfelt rap-like bars.
If you’re looking for a more melodic and romantic song, we’ve got the perfect gem for you. “The Ways” by Khalid featuring Swae Lee is the slap to play for that special someone this Valentine’s Day. Another win for the Black Panther soundtrack.
Georgia native 6 dogs just released his new single “Buttcheeks”. The 18 year old has been on a roll with past releases “Flossing” and “Faygo Dreams”. Don’t be creeped out by the Donnie Darko-esque rabbit…
For the more alternative-underground rap lovers Los Angeles rapper Paris’ latest release “Reasons” is straight fire! The song is a perfect example of the new wave we’ve been seeing in the rap game. More rappers are bringing punk & emo vibes to the scene with more melodic vocals and alternative lyrics. As interesting as the sound is it will be even more interesting to see where these opening doors will lead.
