DCisChillin' DJs: DC
Beginning at 6 years old whenever he was asked “what he wanted to be
when he grew up”. Durell “DCisChillin” Coleman remembers telling
people that he wanted to be on the radio. From that time on he focused
on learning music of all sorts from classical drums, to gospel, r&b,
guitar, hip hop, and jazz.
In high school he began to DJ local events then after graduation &
beginning his first year of college DC’s journey in radio finally
began by being offered an internship at Heritage San Francisco, CA
based hip hop station 106.1 KMEL FM.
After a few years of hustle DC is not only a co-host of the #1 rated
Sana G morning show but also the mid-day host & youngest on air
personality at the radio station he grew up listening to. DC also
hosts a new music mix show with DJ AMEN, & Golden State Warriors
official DJ DSharp.
DC has also worked as a correspondent for Comcast Sports Bay Area show
“the lunch box” where he’s interviewed players from almost every local
Bay Area sports franchise. He also dj’s events throughout the west
In his spare time DC can be found biking, spending time with family,
cooking, exploring new businesses and restaurants in his own backyard
