My main genres of music have always ranged from Hip-Hop to Pop, to R&B and Soul. However, artists like Tyler, The Creator, and Childish Gambino, whose beats include instruments like electric guitars and live drums, attracted me to a Rock/Alt type of sound. From there, Mac DeMarco is where it all started. When I first heard Chamber of Reflection it made me want to discover more similar artists. The loud sounds weirdly help me relax but also make me want to get up and dance at the same time.
