Ambient music as a concept began to gain popularity in the 1970s with the release of Brian Eno’s Ambient series. It’s a very subtle genre of music with not much variation. Most ambient songs only have a few notes that repeat or sustain throughout much of the track. Sometimes ambient songs incorporate recordings of natural sounds and beds to help create a lifelike atmosphere. Ambient music can make the listener feel so many different emotions at once. For me, that’s what I love about it. It helps me process things, feelings, and also helps me feel content. I enjoy how the listening experience with these tracks changes all the time. Sit back with some quality speakers or headphones and get ready to feel the bliss!
