Richard D. James aka Aphex Twin aka AFX is one of the greatest electronic music producers of all time. His diverse discography is hard to describe with a concrete sound but he is insanely good at finding a balance between drum progression and ambience whether it be with pads or synths or just silence. RDJ is a master of creating unique textures and drum patterns that are transcendent and push the boundaries of music. As he turns 50 on August 18th, we chose to celebrate his many years of untapped creativity with some of our favorite songs by the man, the myth, the legend.
