For Mystic Synth Sounds I wanted to tap into the more illustrious sounds that can be made with synthesizers. While creating I listened to a specific rotation of tracks to motivate those sounds, and now before you is a concise list of the more impactful songs. Hopefully these drive you in your endeavors as they did for me!
Wifigawd – Go Get Some Money: This song brings energy to this playlist with an explosive bass and a barrage of sick synth leads and chords.
The Cool Kids (Feat. Key! & Nikki Sweets) – Hibachi: Keeping the momentum this track has an intoxicating arpeggiation and a sick bassline. An ideal workout song.
JPEGMAFIA – TRUST!: Mellowing things a tad, this song at first feels disorienting but after repeated listens you start to smell what he is stepping in; great usage of synthesizers!
Knxwledge – Learn/HowtoKope.: These tracks could be played on loop and you could never get sick of it; its use of synths, samples, and rhythms are enough to get anyone moving.
Aphex Twin – Fingerbib: Synth heaven! The progression of this song and how the sounds interact with each other is like none other, like a symphony from another planet.
Azealia Banks – Miss Camaraderie (Bon Vivant Remix): This song speaks for itself, the production and vocals are stellar.
Tim Carleton – Opus No. 1: Yes I did put hold music on this playlist and for a reason; the instrumental is absolutely atmospheric with iconic sounding synthesizers.
Memo Boy – Brian is the Most Beautiful: The introduction resonates with me at a deep level, but this track still has great elements throughout.
Orchestral Manoeuvers In The Dark: The prettier tracks on this list. The synths lead the way for the vocals and they coexist to create a moody track.
Delegation – Oh Honey: Concluding this list this song is peak cookout energy, with spacey synths, an amazing bassline, and stellar vocals and harmonies. Does not get any better than this.
